What is it?

The M7G is a structural firefighting glove designed to protect firefighters’ hands during structural fireground operations. It combines a premium kangaroo leather outer shell with a Porelle® moisture barrier, a Kovenex® protective liner, and an extended gauntlet-style cuff.

Its ergonomic 3D curved construction follows the natural shape of the hand. Digital-textured palm reinforcement, seamless fingertips, knuckle padding, and fourchette finger construction support the grip, flexibility, and dexterity First Responders need when handling firefighting tools and equipment.


How is it used?

The M7G Structural Firefighting Glove is worn as part of a firefighter’s structural personal protective equipment ensemble. The firefighter inserts the hand into the glove and uses the leather pull tab to assist with donning. The cinched wrist helps secure the glove, while the gauntlet cuff provides extended coverage around the wrist area.

The glove is designed to support hand protection and dexterity while handling fire hose, nozzles, hand tools, ladders, rescue equipment, and other fireground equipment. The textured kangaroo leather palm and fingers help maintain grip and control in wet or dry environments.

Maintenance Information

Inspect the structural firefighting gloves before and after each use for contamination, cuts, punctures, damaged seams, material deterioration, excessive wear, or other signs of damage.

Cleaning, drying, inspection, storage, repair, and retirement must follow the current manufacturer-provided Warning and User Information Guide and the fire department’s established PPE procedures. Do not use damaged gloves or gloves that can no longer provide their intended protection.

Do not use household maintenance practices, cleaning agents, or drying methods unless permitted by the manufacturer. Structural firefighting gloves may contain multiple protective layers that require specialized care.
