What Is It?

The RagTop Fire Duty Mitts™ are structural firefighting gloves designed for interior attack operations. They combine a full kangaroo leather outer shell with a reinforced Kevlar® liner and ergonomic shaping to provide a comfortable, dexterous glove intended for demanding fireground environments.

How Is It Used?

Fit Guidance

Fits true to size for the average hand.

• For a more performance-oriented fit, the manufacturer recommends sizing down one size.
• Gloves naturally expand slightly as they break in.
• Proper fit should feel snug in the palm while remaining comfortable throughout the fingers.

Care and Maintenance

Hand wash using mild detergent and room-temperature water.

• Do not use gear washers or gear extractors.
• Do not use chlorine bleach or solvents.
• Shape gloves to the hand and air dry.
• Excess water may be squeezed out but should not be wrung.
• Allow gloves to fully dry before storage.
• Store in a cool, dry environment.
• Periodically condition leather using balm- or oil-based leather care products.
