What Is It?

The Wicked Picket Anchor System™ is a portable ground anchor solution for technical rescue operations. The system combines three steel pickets with a precision-engineered plate that unifies the strength of the anchor assembly, creating a robust anchoring option when natural or structural anchor points are unavailable.

How Is It Used?

The system is installed by aligning the pickets vertically and driving them into the ground using a sledgehammer or similar tool. The Picket Plate connects all three pickets, helping distribute forces across the system. The included Hitch Point provides an anchoring attachment for rescue rigging. Once the operation is complete, the Extraction Prusik assists with removing the pickets from the ground.

Important Note

Holding strength is dependent on soil conditions and site-specific environmental factors. NFPA testing was performed using the Hitch Point and 5/8-inch Quick-Release Pin and did not include testing with pickets installed in the ground as intended for field use.
