Installation Instructions

1. Safety First
   1. Wear cut-resistant gloves and eye protection.
   2. Ensure the chain brake is disengaged before starting.
2. Remove Existing Components
   1. Loosen and remove the bar nuts using the combination spanner.
   2. Take off the clutch cover and any spacers or rings.
3. Position the Bar
   1. Fit the 16" Shark bar over the bar bolts.
   2. Slide it into the rearmost position for easier chain fitting.
4. Install the Chain
   1. Place the Terminator Carbide Chain over the drive sprocket.
   2. Ensure the cutter teeth face forward on the top edge of the bar.
   3. Align the drive links into the bar groove.
5. Attach the Clutch Cover
   1. Insert the chain adjuster pin into the hole in the bar.
   2. Refit the clutch cover and hand-tighten the bar nuts.
6. Tension the Chain
   1. Lift the bar tip slightly and turn the tensioning screw clockwise until the chain fits snugly but moves freely by hand.
   2. Do not overtighten—proper tension prevents premature wear.
7. Final Checks
   1. Tighten the bar nuts securely.
   2. Rotate the chain manually to confirm smooth movement.
   3. Recheck tension after first use—chains settle during operation.
