To properly care for your Classic Brush Pant - 7.0oz Tecasafe®, follow these washing instructions to maintain their durability and flame-resistant properties:
Washing Instructions
- Preparation: Remove any gear from pockets.
- Close all zippers and buttons.
- Turn the pants inside out to protect the outer fabric.
- Brush off any loose dirt or debris.
- Washing: Machine wash in cold or warm water (never hot) to preserve the fabric’s integrity.
- Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or any harsh chemicals as they can degrade the flame-resistant properties.
- Wash on a gentle cycle to prevent excessive wear.
Drying Instructions
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low-heat setting.
- Remove promptly from the dryer to avoid wrinkles.
- Alternatively, you can hang the pants to air dry.
Additional Tips
- Do not dry clean as the chemicals used in dry cleaning can affect the fabric’s flame-resistant properties.
- Avoid ironing directly on reflective trim or reinforced areas to prevent damage.
