The Storz Blind Cap is a closure designed for an unused Storz connection. The cap engages with a compatible Storz coupling to cover the connection opening when the outlet or inlet is not in use.

The blind cap helps protect the connection from environmental exposure and prevents debris and moisture from entering the opening during storage, transport, or operation.

How Is It Used?

Align the blind cap with a compatible Storz connection, insert the cap, and rotate the cap until the Storz lugs are fully engaged.

When the connection is needed, rotate and remove the blind cap. The attached chain or reflective cable helps keep the cap secured to the equipment while the cap is not installed.

Always make sure the cap is properly seated before placing connected equipment into service.
