Steps for Installation

  1. Mounting: Secure the siren unit using the provided mounting bracket and hardware. Ensure it is firmly attached to a stable surface within the vehicle.
  2. Wiring: Connect the siren to the vehicle's electrical system using the new connector, which requires no special terminals. Strip the wires and use a screwdriver to secure the connections.
  3. Speaker Connection: Attach the siren to one or two speakers, depending on the desired output (100 or 200 watts). Ensure the connections are tight and secure.
  4. Auxiliary Inputs: Connect the auxiliary and park kill inputs, which can be positive or negative switching. This allows for additional functionality such as enabling siren/horn tones or hands-free tone cycling.
  5. Radio Rebroadcast: Adjust the two-way radio rebroadcast volume from the front of the siren to ensure clear communication.
  6. Customization: Use the push button on the back and two dip switches to customize the unit according to your preferences.
  7. Testing: After installation, test all functions including the siren tones, PA system, and LED diagnostics to ensure everything is working correctly.
