Design & Carry System

The SmokeChaser™ Pro is built around a flexible internal bladder that forms to the user’s back when filled, improving weight distribution and reducing pressure points during extended operations. This bladder is fully enclosed within the ballistic nylon outer shell to protect it from abrasion and field damage.

The backpack features a wedge‑shaped profile, which improves balance and stability while walking on uneven terrain. Heavily padded, closed‑cell shoulder straps and integrated lumbar padding are designed to reduce fatigue and resist moisture retention during long deployments.

Filling & Handling Enhancements

A large top‑mounted fill cap allows the unit to be filled without removing the pump assembly, helping to prevent leaks and speed up refilling in the field. Dual top carry handles provide additional grip points for filling, lifting, and repositioning the pump when full.

The pump connects via a quick‑disconnect system, allowing fast removal for maintenance or storage.

The unit is rated for a continuous flow of approximately 0.75 gallons per minute, delivering consistent water output on both the push and pull strokes of the pump.

Storage & Field Utility

Integrated throughout the pack is a military‑grade, laser‑cut MOLLE system, allowing firefighters to securely attach tools, nozzles, hose accessories, or small field equipment directly to the pump. The pack also includes multiple storage compartments sized for hand tools and firefighting accessories.

Visibility & Safety
