How Is It Used
This monitor is mounted to the deck of a fire apparatus and operated using dual crank handles to control horizontal rotation and vertical elevation. The outlet section can be raised manually to increase nozzle height, then locked into position for flowing. When needed, operators quickly deploy the monitor using the pull-and-lift mechanism, direct the stream precisely, and supply water from a compatible 3" apparatus connection.
Who Uses It
Fire departments, industrial emergency response teams, and apparatus manufacturers rely on this monitor for high-volume water delivery, long-range stream performance, and reliable deck-mounted fire suppression.
Maintenance Information
Routine lubrication is simplified with grease fittings located at all pivot points. Periodic inspection of the worm gear cranks, articulation pin, and stow sensor system ensures continued reliability. The automatic drain valve assists with water removal after operation, helping prevent freezing and corrosion.
Storage Information
The monitor is designed to stow securely in a locked-down position using the integrated mechanism and stow sensor. It should remain in the lowered position during transport or when not in use to protect components and maintain apparatus clearance.
