• Zippered Pocket: Features a zippered pocket with an internal tether for keys or a whistle, plus a manual backup cord and mouth inflation valve.

How is it Used?

The NRS Matik Inflatable PFD is designed for use in various water activities where on-demand flotation is needed. It is worn around the neck and secured with a waist buckle. In the event of a swim, the user pulls the red tab to manually inflate the vest using the CO2 cartridge. The vest can also be inflated using the mouth inflation valve as a backup.

Important Note

• An inflatable PFD is certified by the US Coast Guard as a Type V PFD. However, it meets Coast Guard requirements for Type III PFDs when it is worn. In other words, you must be wearing the deflated collar for it to qualify as a required flotation device.
