Ziamatic WALKAWAY® Knock‑Down (KD) SCBA Spring Clip Brackets with High‑Cycle (UH) coating are designed for First Responders who require durable, repeat‑use SCBA cylinder storage with fast access. These unassembled brackets provide the same WALKAWAY® spring clip functionality as assembled models, with enhanced clip durability suited for moderate to high‑use environments.

KD‑UH‑SF models are commonly used in fire stations, training facilities, and non‑crew apparatus compartments where SCBA cylinders are frequently stowed and deployed.

Features

  • Knock‑Down (Unassembled) Configuration: Supplied unassembled for field installation, offering flexibility and a cost‑effective storage solution.
  • WALKAWAY® Spring Clip Retention: Hardened steel spring clips securely hold SCBA cylinders while allowing quick push‑in storage and pull‑out removal.
  • High‑Cycle (UH) Protective Coating: Features a double‑coated clip design intended to support repeated stowing and removal cycles.
  • Short Footplate (SF): Includes a short footplate suitable for commonly used SCBA cylinder lengths.
  • Cylinder‑Specific Clip Sizing: Available in multiple clip sizes to match standard SCBA cylinder diameters.
  • Simple, Fast Operation: Cylinder valve rests on the footplate and is pushed into the clips to secure.
  • Non‑Crew Area Use: Intended for installation in stations or non‑crew compartments in accordance with applicable apparatus standards.

What is it?

The Ziamatic WALKAWAY® Knock‑Down SCBA Spring Clip Bracket with High‑Cycle coating is an unassembled mounting bracket designed to store SCBA cylinders securely while supporting frequent use. The knock‑down design allows assembly in the field, while the High‑Cycle clip coating helps support long‑term durability.

How is it used?

Once assembled and mounted, the SCBA cylinder is stored by placing the valve on the footplate and pushing the cylinder into the spring clips. To deploy, the cylinder is pulled straight out of the clips, allowing rapid access during emergency response or training operations.

Who uses it?

  • Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

  • Technical Rescue Teams
  • Fire Training Facilities
