How It’s Used
Attach the strap to the end of a supply or suction hose
- As the engine lays the hose, a firefighter pulls the strap and loops it over the hydrant
- Once the hose lay is complete, the strap is unbuckled and removed
- Tools stored in the pouch are used to complete the hydrant connection
