Why Choose the Inflatable Containment Tank?

Traditional containment pools often require significant storage space and manual assembly. The Andax Inflatable Containment Tank™ delivers large-capacity spill containment in a compact package that can be deployed in seconds. Its lightweight design, self-inflating technology, reusable construction, and 100-gallon capacity make it an effective solution for organizations that need immediate containment capability without sacrificing storage space.

Features

  • 100-Gallon Capacity: Captures and contains large spills, leaks, and equipment discharges.
  • Rapid Deployment: Inflates within seconds using an integrated CO₂ cylinder activation system.
  • Compact Storage: Stores in a small carrying case measuring only 14" H x 16" W x 3.5" D.
  • Self-Supporting Sidewalls: Inflatable walls automatically maintain containment shape without external supports.
  • Reusable Design: Can be cleaned, repacked, and redeployed after use.
  • Integrated Rip-Cord Activation: Quick pull deployment system allows immediate inflation during emergencies.
  • Safety Release Valve: Automatically manages excess internal pressure and allows controlled deflation.
  • Lightweight Construction: Weighs only 6.25 lbs for easy transport and storage.
  • Portable Carry Case: Convenient carrying case includes storage for additional replacement cylinders.
  • Made in the USA: Manufactured in the United States.
  • Patent Pending Design: Innovative inflatable containment technology.
  • Ideal for Limited Storage Areas: Provides large containment capacity while requiring minimal storage space.

What Is It?

The Andax Inflatable Containment Tank™ is a portable spill containment solution that combines the storage convenience of a compact carrying case with the containment capacity of a large spill pool. Unlike traditional rigid containment basins, the ICT remains folded and ready until needed. Upon activation, the integrated CO₂ system inflates the sidewalls, creating an instant containment area capable of holding up to 100 gallons of liquid.

The inflatable design allows organizations to stage spill response equipment in vehicles, equipment rooms, maintenance shops, hazardous material response units, warehouses, utility vehicles, and remote work locations where storage space is limited.

How Is It Used?

The ICT is designed for emergency and planned spill containment applications.

Common uses include:

  • Capturing leaking fluids from machinery and equipment
  • Containing fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, and chemical leaks
  • Emergency spill response operations

Instructions

Step 1: Remove from Storage

  • Remove the carrying case from storage.
  • Unzip the carrying case and remove the folded containment tank.

Step 2: Position the Tank

  • Place the containment tank on level ground.
  • Unfold the tank completely.
  • Ensure the CO₂ inflation cartridge is facing upward.

Step 3: Inflate

  • Firmly grip the CO₂ cylinder using the insulated sleeve.
  • Pull the red rip-cord handle to activate the inflation system.
  • The sidewalls will inflate automatically within seconds.

Step 4: Position for Containment

  • Move or adjust the inflated tank as needed beneath the leak or spill source.
  • Verify that all sidewalls are fully inflated and upright.

Step 5: Contain the Spill

  • The containment tank can hold up to 100 gallons of liquid.
  • Monitor the spill and remove collected liquids according to site procedures.

Step 6: Clean and Reuse

  • Drain and properly dispose of recovered liquids.
  • Wipe or rinse the containment area as appropriate.
  • Allow the tank to dry before repacking.

Step 7: Deflate and Store

  • Open the safety release valve to release air from the sidewalls.
