What is it?

The 90° Pressure Suction Discharge Elbow is a compact, aluminum 90-degree elbow designed to transition between suction and discharge connections on fire pumps, folding tanks, or secondary pumpers. Engineered for high-volume fluid transfer in tight spaces, this elbow maintains clear access lanes while delivering efficient flow.

How is it used?

It's threaded directly onto pump suction or discharge ports, often used where a sharp change in direction is required but space is limited. Ideal for firefighting apparatus, tank fill operations, or emergency water relay systems.

Who used it?

Fire departments, industrial fire suppression teams, and municipal emergency services rely on this elbow due to its rugged construction and compliance with NFPA standards.

Maintenance information

This elbow requires minimal upkeep, periodic inspection for wear or corrosion, lubrication of swivel joints, and cleaning after exposure to debris or chemicals. Replace O-rings or seals as needed to maintain rated working pressure.

What is it used with?

It pairs seamlessly with NH (National Hose) male/female swivel or rocker lug couplings, Storz couplers, hard suction hoses, folding water tanks, and fire pump intakes/discharges.

What material is it made from?

Constructed of military Type III anodized aluminum for valve and connectors, with a cast aluminum body featuring a black anodized and powder-coated finish for superior corrosion and abrasion resistance.
