The FoamPro 1600 Series is an advanced electric single-point injection foam proportioning system engineered specifically for Class A foam operations. Designed to deliver precision and reliability, it features fully automatic foam proportioning that adjusts seamlessly to changes in flow or pressure. This compact system ensures continuous operation without the need to pause for foam tank refills, making it ideal for demanding firefighting environments.

How is it used?

Operators use the panel-mounted control module to activate the system and select the desired foam percentage. Once engaged, the system automatically injects foam concentrate into the water stream on the discharge side, ensuring optimal mixing and performance. It’s suitable for installation in both new and existing fire apparatus and integrates easily with municipal and wildland firefighting vehicles.

Who uses it?

The 1600 Series is trusted by fire departments and emergency response teams operating:

  • Brush rigs and skid units
  • Fast attack and wildland vehicles
  • Municipal fire apparatus
  • Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS)

Control Module

  • Injection percentage from 0.1% to 1.0%
  • On/Off control
  • Foam percentage selector
  • Low concentrate warning indicator
  • No concentrate warning indicator
  • Simulated flow with auto disengage

Maintenance Information

Routine maintenance includes checking the foam pump, inspecting the flow sensor and strainer, and verifying the integrity of the shielded cable set. The system includes RFI/EMI suppression to reduce electronic interference, enhancing reliability. While the system is built for durability, regular inspection of the motor and control module is recommended to ensure peak performance.

Storage Information

The system should be stored in a clean, dry environment when not in use. Ensure the foam concentrate is stored according to manufacturer guidelines. Protect the control module and electrical components from extreme temperatures and moisture to maintain longevity.
