NFPA Compliance Note
NFPA 1901 requires that each fire apparatus be equipped with two easily accessible wheel chocks before it can be placed into service. These chocks must be capable of holding a fully-loaded apparatus on a 20% grade hard surface with the transmission in neutral and the parking brake released.
