Decon Ready® PPE & Multi‑Surface Cleaner is specifically designed to help remove these contaminants from non-absorbing, non-porous surfaces commonly used throughout the fire service. The cleaner provides effective and versatile cleaning capabilities while remaining ready to use right out of the bottle, making it a convenient option for routine decontamination and equipment maintenance programs.

Unlike many cleaners that can damage protective equipment or leave harmful residues behind, Decon Ready® PPE & Multi‑Surface Cleaner is formulated without citric-based cleaners such as D-limonene, denatured alcohol, fragrances, optical brighteners, whiteners, or bleach. The cleaner helps remove contamination while supporting the continued performance and appearance of turnout gear, helmets, SCBA equipment, fire apparatus surfaces, and other hard equipment surfaces.

The formulation meets and exceeds NFPA 1850 standards for turnout gear cleaning, making it a valuable addition to firefighter PPE maintenance and contamination control programs. Users can simply apply the product, wipe or rinse away contaminants, thoroughly rinse with water, and allow surfaces to air dry.

How Is It Used?

1. Mix or shake well before use.
2. Remove excess dirt, mud, and visible debris.
3. Test on an inconspicuous area to verify compatibility.
4. Apply directly or with a damp cloth.
5. Continue decontaminating the surface after successful testing.
6. Thoroughly rinse the surface with water.
7. Allow the surface to air dry.
8. Wash exposed skin with Decon Ready Skin Cleanser after decontamination activities.
9. Avoid contact with eyes and flush with water if contact occurs.

Maintenance Information
