Material Construction

The ChemMax® 4 Plus Tan Coverall is constructed from spunbonded polypropylene combined with a proprietary multi‑layer barrier film. This six‑layer construction is designed to deliver high chemical hold‑out times while maintaining flexibility and wearability in demanding environments.

Chemical Resistance & Testing

ChemMax® 4 Plus fabric has been independently tested using ASTM F739 and ISO 6529 methods and demonstrates extended normalized breakthrough times (often greater than 480 minutes) against a broad range of industrial chemicals, including acids, solvents, hydrocarbons, and toxic industrial chemicals

Intended Protection Type

The ChemMax® 4 Plus C4T165T coverall is intended for liquid splash, spray, and particulate chemical protection. It is not gas‑ or vapor‑tight and is designed for use with appropriate respiratory protection when required.

Comfort & Wearability Considerations

Despite its high chemical barrier performance, ChemMax® 4 Plus material is engineered to remain soft, flexible, and less restrictive than many bonded or laminated chemical fabrics. The smoother extruded barrier film helps reduce stiffness and improves wearer mobility during extended tasks
