Autonomous drone security system with AI, thermal imaging, and 24/7 patrols for critical infrastructure and enterprise protection.
The Blackbird Block V is a next-generation autonomous drone system designed for Robotic Aerial Security (RAS). Engineered for rapid response, persistent surveillance, and intelligent threat detection, it combines advanced imaging payloads, AI-driven analytics, and resilient communications to protect critical infrastructure, enterprise facilities, and public safety environments. Integrated with Nightingale’s Mission Manager software and base stations, it operates autonomously launching, patrolling, recharging, and redeploying without human intervention.
Features
How is it used?
Security teams use the Blackbird Block V for autonomous patrols, rapid incident response, and manual surveillance during emergencies. Missions are managed via Nightingale’s Mission Manager software, which allows remote operation, live video monitoring, and fleet coordination. Drones launch from base stations installed across the facility, perform their tasks, and return for automatic recharging.
Who uses it?
Ideal for enterprise security teams, defense installations, public safety agencies, and critical infrastructure operators. It’s used by organizations requiring 24/7 surveillance, rapid response capabilities, and integration with existing security systems.
Maintenance Information
The system includes autonomous health monitoring and predictive maintenance features. Nightingale offers a Maintenance, Repair & Upgrade (MRU) program to ensure continuous readiness. Software updates and diagnostics are handled remotely or on-site via the base station.
Storage Information
Drones are stored in weatherized base stations that provide heating, cooling, and secure charging. These stations are installed on rooftops or secure facility locations and maintain optimal drone conditions for immediate deployment.
