The Series D / D‑NS Drum Repair Kit is a compact plug‑and‑patch leak control kit designed by Edwards & Cromwell for temporary containment of leaking drums, totes, and similar low‑pressure vessels. It equips first responders with patches, plugs, and sealants to stop leaks of hazardous liquids or bulk materials quickly and safely.

How is it used?

• Establish control zone (use included barricade tape if provided) and don appropriate PPE.
• Identify leak geometry (pin‑hole, crack, gash, convex/concave/flat).
• Select and apply the correct component:
  • Screw patches with neoprene compression seals for pinpoint leaks.
  • Ball plugs or tapered plugs for round holes/openings.
  • T‑bolt patches with neoprene pads for larger openings or irregular shapes.
  • Lead wool + epoxy putty and neoprene sheet for cracks or surface rot.
• Tighten, monitor, and over‑pack/transfer per your SOP. The kit is a temporary measure.
